Today, we are honored by Ms. Siriwan Phongsermsuk, President of Amornchai Property Co., Ltd., one of the leading companies in the real estate development industry within Songkhla area. She will talk about the real estate industry in Hat Yai and selling points of DE VIELLE BY AMORNCHAI, which is a project that Ms. Siriwan has contributed her time to all details and processes to fulfil the requirements of design-oriented customers.
We’ve noticed that your term as the President of the Songkhla Real Estate Association has just ended.
“Yes, recently, after holding the position for 2 consecutive terms (4 years). There is a rule prescribing that a person can hold a position for not more than 2 consecutive terms in order to allow others to take over the duties, so we have more time to focus on our own work. And now I have time to supervise the building processes for DE VIELLE BY AMORNCHAI.
Could you please tell us about the starting point of being part of the Real Estate industry? What are the factors that maintain your position in the tough industry over the past ten years?
“Back to 2002, my previous business does not in any way related to real estates. I have operated my business for a certain period of time until the market direction was shifted, and a friend of mine told me to join her in the real estate industry. After that, we partnered and invested in the industry for approximately 3 years. When it came to the forth year, I started to do a business on my own, starting from offering townhouses and commercial shophouses located in the downtown area. At that time, I had built around 10 projects with 20-30 units each. Every single project would normally take two years or two and a half years to build. We focus on quality. Therefore, the project would not be too big, and the sale should be fast made.”
“What maintain us in this tough industry for a long time? I think it’s about sincerity and caring we have towards our customers. What we think it’s good, what we want in our own houses, we would use them in the houses sold to the customers as well. As a result, each unit designed by us is fitted with best quality materials and features high standard design that suits our customers well. Anyone could feel our sincerity, and this is a guarantee of the company’s quality. This may be the reason why the customers have trusted us for a long time.”
As a player in Hat Yai’s real estate industry, what do you think the trends of the real estates would be?
“I need to say that there is a great demand in the real estate market of Hat Yai, but we require more reliable economic and political conditions. In that case where everything is clearer, we believe that foreign investors, or any person with high purchasing power, including the locals, would probably dare to invest their money and expand the industry more.
Why did you choose to do the investment in Hat Yai? What are the potentials you see?
“I’m a Hat Yai local myself, so we wanted to build housing projects in our hometown. I know the people here, and I know their potential. They have a high purchasing power and enjoy unique designs. As a result, we decided to build luxury houses to fulfil the requirements of this group of customers.”
How are locations important to you?
“We selected locations based on our bias and preference. We chose where we want to live. However, in terms of business, we need to concern the growth opportunities and convenient accessibility as well. DE VIELLE BY AMORNCHAI offers easy accessibility, yet convenient accessibility must come with privacy. We want customers to feel that this is their home, a private space, a personal sphere isolated from the outside world. It should be a personal sphere that focuses on designs.”

It has been through the process where we have studied of possibility, perfection of appearance and functions that meet customers’ requirements and materials we used, including flooring, ceiling, interior decorations and built-ins. Everything needs to match with one another and be easy on the eyes. Everything matters. We highly concern every single detail of the design.”
Apart from design-orientation, how do you choose the materials used?
“As I told you earlier, we build a house as if we were going to live in there, so we picked the best materials. You can clearly see that there are lots of doors and windows in our design, because our houses feature a combination of modern and mid centurial styles. When we came up with the idea to use many doors and windows, we then thought which brand we would use. We decided to use TOSTEM, because its material quality make our houses more valuable and meet every aspect of customers’ requirements. You would see that the openings in our Nuvo houses are taller than usual. TOSTEM came to take care of this feature, because the height of the openings is up to 6-7 meters and its shape is not a regular rectangular. TOSTEM can provide us everything, because the brand has a factory in Thailand. We have never worried about the quality of its delivery service. All doors and windows are made to order. They are all completed from the factory. Every customer trusts the products, especially the lock system, as it is a double-lock one. It’s best for security concerns.
